Last year the Patuxent Riverkeeper and the Davidsonville Area Civic Association (DACA) coordinated Green Week for the first time in order to showcase local businesses along the MD Route 214 corridor.
South River Federation will join the Patuxent Riverkeeper and DACA this year to promote green practices at home and at work. DACA will have another native seedling giveaway and there will be an opportunity for community environmental education and outreach through an education fair and expo. Local and regional environmental nonprofit organizations, as well as businesses selling environmentally friendly products and services are invited to exhibit.

Other participants are: AA County Recycling, AA County Forestry Board, Rainscaping Campaign, Baywise Master Gardeners, Master Watershed Stewards and Watershed Stewards Academy, Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary, local solar, geothermal, wind power businesses, local landscapers, and plant nurseries, green building companies and more!
